A little about Jo:

Originally from the Adirondack Mountains of New York. She earned her BFA in ceramics at a small state school on the shores of Lake Champlain. Her hands have been in the dirt since she was a sprout. She finds great joy in sharing her craft with others and has been teaching beginner’s ceramics for 15 years. Her work explores themes of her connection with the natural world, resilience, and the importance of movement for mental health. You can usually find her at a local pottery studio fussing over her student work, taking a slow walk while collecting too many rocks, and spending time with her one year old daughter here in the lowcountry.
